I looked at quite a few different models of adjustable stools at Amazon, including one at a local "box" store. This was over half the price that I could get locally and less expensive than many listed on the amazon site. You have to put it together, One of the casters (they have metric threaded studs, which thread into the legs) would not start into the hole. Tried all kinds of fixes (A die would not fix it). Figured trying to ask for a new one would be more pain than worth. Just ground the threads down till I could force it into the leg. The details of the product does not describe height adjustment, but one of the product pictures implies a 18" to 24" range. Actually is 18" to 22". This is just barely tall enough for what I wanted. The seat is not very comfortable plus it's kinda small. If I could have test driven this thing, I would have chosen a more expensive model. Since I'm replacing two milk crates with a slat of wood on top as a stool, I'll put up with it.
