(More customer reviews)I ordered this ottoman for my tiny office to serve as both extra seating and file storage. This was one of the few ottomans I found with file rails built in. Unfortunately, the hanging file rails were an inch too high. As a result, if you actually put files in the ottoman, the top won't close. Completely ridiculous design or shoddy workmanship? The top of the ottoman has no padding...it's basically just a vinyl covered box. It's incredibly uncomfortable to sit on or put your feet up on. So I bought this to meet two needs and it failed in both. My friend ultimately fixed the file rails with a bucket of woodworking tools. She suggested it would have been faster to just build a wooden box and glue pleather to the outside. That would have been cheaper too!
