Exactly what the wife and I were looking for, and much less than sets we were finding that weren't as nice and didn't have the 8 chairs. Chairs very sturdy, and table is a heavy monster and the pedestal design is great to be able to sit anywhere around the table without tables legs in the way - but VERY stable. You need a little time for assembly, but not near as bad as it sounded in some of the other reviews. Shipping was also very quick!
