The key was that it fit our requirements as it was narrow (~15 inches)and her shower/tub has sliding glass doors with a narrow opening. It is so, so well made, sturdy, and the leg adjustments you can move up and down with one hand. We chose not to put on the back of the bench which worked for us. The groves in the top of the bench remarkably kept the water from going onto the floor outside the tub. This is a top notch bench. Very easy to put together; instructions easily understood.

Design Keeps Water Inside the TubThe ergonomically contoured seat features drainage holes which allow water to flow through the bench and drain with the water in the tub or shower, ensuring that the seat remains safer and comfortable to use, and easy to clean. A contoured groove at the edge of the shower seat guides water away from the tub edge and back into the tub, preventing water from getting outside the tub.
