(More customer reviews)well...after a huge snow storm hit the SE Wisconsin and delayed my shipment i was excited that i finally got my shower seat :D
First off I have a mild form of CP or Cerebral Palsy that effects my legs & right arm, & after falling in the shower i finally said maybe its time for a shower chair (this was very hard for me at 22 to admit b/c i've never really let my CP stop me from doing things "normally") well the sesrch was on for a shower chair. because honestly for the first time i was scared to take a shower while alone in the house.
There was 3 specs. that this shower chair must meet:
1. i didnt want it to look like a "normal" shower chair (i share a house w/ my father who is 5'10-5'11 & when he takes it out of the shower i didnt want it to "stick out")
2. it had to be small (i have limited space in my bathroom)
3. it had to be light (i can only really use my one hand for carrying things)
Well this fit that bill, so i was so excited when i got it finally in the mail. Well that's where my excitement ended i took everything outta the box and got to work.
1. the tubes were bent inward so they didnt slide together properly :( (well i have my dad bend them till they slid properly) and even after that they still really dont line up with ease
2. the holes for the bolts (4) only half (2) line up correctly.
So im still having a problem putting this together, i hope my dad can fix it
i would not recommend this product unless i knew the person that was disabled had someone else to put it together for them. i do NOT think it's worth $60
the only reason i gave it a 3 stars was b/c i am hoping that my dad can save the day, if he can't i will be changing my stars to 1 :(
