(More customer reviews)Do NOT buy this product. I was looking for the Cosco phone number to report this injury when I spotted Amazon. I am a 51-year-old RN who thought this would be a handy step-stool. I bought it at Wal-Mart, brought it home, unwrapped it, & tried to open the legs, in order to show my husband my handy new stool. I felt a pinch on my finger & started doing a wrist-snap to decrease the pain. Soon I had blood all over the kitchen! The cut was ~ 1/16" deep x 5/8" long. Finger cuts bleed a lot, which accounted for the mess. I am an adult who knows better: don't get this item for a child! My husband was pinched, but not cut, when he tried to open the stool. This is a dangerous product. AVOID!
