(More customer reviews)I am 5'1" tall. Sitting down on the stool, I could see only the bottom third of my face. But after my handy husband adjusted the hinge on the side, I am able to see my entire head. (By the way, my husband forced me to write this review so that everyone with, or considering, this item will know that you just need to move the two screws on the bottom hinge in order to see your whole face.) There are two hole marks visible now, but it doesn't bother me, especially since the top closes shut. The seat is much better looking in person. And it can be easily re-covered if you don't like the beige microfiber cloth it comes with.
