(More customer reviews)Tired of my 4 year old's things taking over my modest home, I decided to get a storage ottoman for in front of the sofa. This met all my needs. I needed plenty of storage. I did not want separate bins inside so that it could hold longer items. I wanted a tray so I could primarily use it as a table. Had to be sturdy and look good. Couldn't pay an arm and a leg.
I've had it for over six months now and am still very pleased with it. Extremely functional and looks good. I would give it five stars except that I turned the middle cushion over to use it as a tray and left it that way. It just didn't fit properly and one side or the other would always slip slightly into the storage area. Flipped it back over, put a beautiful wooden tray on top and everything is fine.
It's sturdy enough that my 4 year old goes in it for something several times a day. So although it won't be an heirloom, it will serve its purpose for some time to come.
It looks just as pictured including the color.
It is rather inexpensive so if your furniture is high end I don't think you'd want it in your livingroom. Bedroom, maybe. But overall, a fine purchase.
