(More customer reviews)We've had these steps now for a couple years - currently used by a 16-month-old and a 3-year-old to access the hall bathroom sink. The small panels shown bolted onto the sides at the bottom of the unit stick out too far and would hit the cabinet under the sink, but we just left them off and it works perfectly. I'm sure these are there to keep the unit from tipping forward in other situations, but in this case the entire unit is up against a cabinet, so there's no need for the feet.
The dimensions are perfect for the little ones, the grab handles are fantastic and all the corners are nicely rounded and smooth. The baltic birch plywood is hefty and durable - this is a heavy-duty unit that will last through generations. While not intended to be portable, it will quickly break down and store under a bed or in the attic when waiting for the next generation :)
