(More customer reviews)This step stool has wider steps and is more stable than many others of the same size. It's quite sturdy (tested personally at 230 lbs plus tools). The top step latches to the bar in a relatively tight fashion, and is slightly difficult to pop loose as you close the stool. I don't understand the negative review about getting your fingers caught, since I've had no such problem. All said, much improved over many similar designs.
