(More customer reviews)Initially purchased this stool because it is deeper and wider than most for improved stability. Upon opening package noticed that some hardware was missing. 10 pieces in all. I'm sure this is not all that uncommon however attempting to get in touch with the company for replacement hardware has been impossible. First of all, the email address for replacement parts given on instruction sheet does not work and is undeliverable when attempting to communicate with a couple of my different email accounts. Attempted to call on several occasions with no answer. Have also emailed them from their customer service page on their website on two separate occasions with no response to either email in over a two week period of time. It's almost as if the company has no customer service department or no way to get in touch with them. On another note, the hardware that did come with the stool, specifically the locking mechanism, is cheaply made and several broke with the simple turn of a screwdriver. Have not been able to find those to replace in hardware stores and there is no other way to get them besides contacting the company which has been impossible. It is unfortunate because the stool itself is attractive and appears as though it would be sturdy however I would not chance the hassle of having to deal with this company. I would not recommend this stool for the above reasons.
