(More customer reviews)I received the stool after a few days and found it to be sturdy, and as advertised. I plan to give it a coat of clear urethane sealant and it will be ready to go. It's going to be used to support a laptop near my TV so I can watch streaming Internet transmissions, and also as a small table for snacks. Its 18 inch height is just about ideal for that. 20 inches would have been even better, but what can you do?
I gave the stool 4 stars instead of 5 because there were some cosmetic dings, and because in my opinion at $40, it's a little overpriced.
