(More customer reviews)We adopted a small dog from an animal rescue group because our 18 yr old dog passed away and our 5 yr old dog was as heartbroken as we were. Unfortunately, the little dog had a huge problem of eating stool, her own and her "brother's". Our vet told us to try one of the coprophagia pills on the market but didn't know if it would be effective. Since this was a small dog (14 lbs) and needed to have the dose cut in half because we feed the dogs twice a day, we opted for the Healthy Select Soft Chews. We were informed that it might take a month or so for the product to become effective and that we would need to give the product to all the dogs in the house.
It did take about a month before we saw any significant change in the small dog's behavior. After two months, we decided to try cutting back the amount given each dog, so now we give the product only with the morning meal and it appears to be working with the same efficiency.
We are extremely satisfied with this product. The dogs tolerate it well. Our only wish is that we could dose the rabbits that sneak into the yard at night and leave their droppings....both dogs seem to like the ingredients of the rabbit droppings!
