(More customer reviews)My daughter gave me a gift certificate from Amazon for my birthday because she knew I wanted to buy this little baby. I desperately needed a chair in my computer room, which is small and really more of a storage area. A regular chair is too high, a task chair's too bulky. This little stool, however, is at the right height for typing comfort and the perfect size for the room.
The mighty BIG plus is the hideaway storage. I do lots of data and photo CD's, as well as copy my music CDs to keep my originals pristine. I'm also an enthusiastic, amateurishly creative labelmaker, ergo I buy large packs of CD labels for printing, which are easily stored in my hideaway.
Almost a year later and I still use my little stool even though we've cleared enough space for a task chair. It's comfortable, sturdy and useful in several ways. However, the bolts should be tightened VERY well, as I've had to tighten them three times before I finally smartened up and used one of those rachet thingys.
