(More customer reviews)Yes, it's just a footstool, but it's the only one I've found that is a LOW footstool, just 4 inches off the ground. And it's solid stained wood, which looks good in the living room. I have short legs and bad knees, and I need the support that this height provides. If you want something higher, angled or made of plastic, look elsewhere. My only complaint is that I wish it was wider and longer. The toes of my size 12 foot hang over the top. But for what it is, it does the job and it's built like it will last forever.
